Volusia Storybook Village
This FREE family-friendly event celebrates the magic of books and helps nurture a lifelong love of reading! Families can enjoy a variety of fun, hands-on activities inspired by some of our favorite books, including children’s activities, story times, and a scavenger hunt. Children and families will have the opportunity to explore, play, create, and experience the joy of reading together.
The event also gives families the opportunity to bring home additional books to build their home libraries and continue the love of reading long after the event is over.

Our top priority is to get kids excited about reading!
Additionally, we aim to raise funds for the Volusia County Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which provides free books to children from birth to 5 years old. This program is entirely funded by local donations, grants, and fundraisers like this event. Bring your family and support a great cause while fostering a love for reading in your little ones!

Scavenger Hunt
Get ready for a book-inspired scavenger hunt! Families will search for fun characters and items inspired by some of the featured books at Storybook Village.
Once children find all 10 items, they can head to the scavenger hunt table to complete their adventure and choose a FREE book to add to their home library!
