REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR CHILD CARE SERVICES AT HOPE PLACE

Exciting Opportunity for Child Care Providers to be a part of Hope Place!

Hope Place is a program run by Halifax Urban Ministries (HUM) that offers a fresh start for families with children that have been displaced from their homes.

HUM has set aside a building at Hope Place to house a high quality child care facility, with total square footage of 4,989 and 5 restrooms. This space has a covered, paved play area and a small fenced in grassy area. In addition to the space, HUM has child size furniture and quite a few supplies. Exhibit A is a rendering of the building and Exhibit B is a list of furniture and supplies for use by the awarded respondent. 

The Early Learning Coalition of Flagler and Volusia Counties, Inc. (ELCFV) is charged with facilitating HUM, in finding the right partner to operate the child care facility and invites qualified child care providers to submit proposals for contracting and providing child care services at Hope Place, 1340 Wright Street, Daytona Beach, Florida, 32117, on behalf of Halifax Urban Ministries (HUM), as described in these specifications.

In order to be considered, written proposals, using the format described, must be received by 12:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, December 22, 2017, at the Coalition’s main office located at 135 Executive Circle, Suite 100, Daytona Beach, FL 32114.

  • Offers providers the opportunity to participate in local quality initiatives that support children’s optimal progress in the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards
  • Supports providers in completing and following up on ASQ screenings
  • Offers and facilitates training to improve provider quality
