Welcome! We are so glad you chose to be a part of our community. Finding your way in a new place can be difficult, but you are not alone. Whether you are looking for a job or need help finding housing, we link you to local resources.

Finding a job

These days, finding a job can be difficult. CareerSource specializes in employment-related services, including helping you find a job. They help many Flagler and Volusia residents navigate today’s complicated job market every day.

Applying for other aid

Click on Medicaid, Food Stamps, and Cash Assistance to see if you qualify for additional help. Sometimes these forms can be confusing to fill out. Let us know if you would like help with them.

Pathway out of homelessness

Homelessness can be scary. There are many resources, including Family Renew Community and HUM Family Shelter, to help your family get on their feet. Contact us for more information.

Are you in an abusive relationship?

No one deserves to live in an unsafe environment. If you or someone you know needs help escaping an abusive relationship, there are resources in both Flagler and Volusia Counties. If you are in Volusia County, please contact the Beacon Center  for support.

Finding a pediatrician

If you are a parent of a child with special needs, Children’s Medical Services (CMS) is a collection of programs for eligible children with special needs. Each one of our programs and services are family-centered and designed to help children with a variety of conditions and needs.

Are you pregnant or a new mom? Healthy Start has resources for pregnant women, infants, young children and their families.


Dolly Parton Imagination Library

Did you know having books in the home gives your kids a better chance at succeeding in school? If your child is under 5 years old, they could receive a free book sent directly to your home every month. Visit the Dolly Parton Imagination Library website to find out if you live in a participating zip code.
