Child Development

child_developmentHave you ever wondered about your child’s development?

Maybe you have asked yourself the following questions?

  • How is my child developing?
  • What skills has my child already acquired and what is the next milestone?
  • My child is not talking yet or he can’t say “th” sounds well, is that ok?

We at the Early Learning Coalition are excited about assisting you along the pathway of Child Development in whatever way possible. We will ask you to complete an Ages and Stages Questionnaire as part of the School Readiness funding process. It is during the Ages and Stages Questionnaire process that all of these important questions will get answered.

  • The results of the questionnaire will guide your child’s teacher on how to support his learning, and which area of development to focus on
  • It will also allow us the opportunity to offer you, child appropriate activities and/or community resources if your child needs additional support.

As The Early Learning Coalition realizes the impact of hearing and vision on a child’s development, we are pleased to offer free hearing and vision screening to children birth to 5 year old. Please call us to set an appointment
