“Learning starts in infancy, long before formal education begins and continues throughout life.” – Dr. James Heckman

A child’s quality of life and the contributions a child makes to society as an adult can be traced back to his or her first years of life. It is proven that positive early experiences and rich nurturing environments form foundations for lifelong learning and behavior.

It may seem surprising, but preparing a child for school starts the day you bring them home from the hospital! Therefore, you are your child’s first teacher. Parents have the greatest impact on their children’s life. At ELCFV, we partner with families desiring to equip them with various family engagement tips as well as an encouraging atmosphere. Our hope is for families to become and stay stable to develop a healthy child who is school ready by the time they turn 5.
