Executive Committee

• 3rd Wednesday of the month at 8:30 a.m.
• This Committee consists of the Board's slate of officers; the Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, & Treasurer and is responsible for reviewing overall strategies and operations of the Coalition, making decisions on behalf of the Coalition in between Coalition meetings and acting as the overall leadership for the Coalition. This committee also monitors the expenditure of funds and assures accountability for funds in accordance with legal and contractual requirements.

Quality Committee

• 2nd Thursday of the month at 9:00 a.m.
• This committee shall ensure compliance with the Coalition Plan in regards to quality assurance. This committee shall oversee the Quality Rating System development and implementation including professional development initiatives as well as training and technical assistance as related to provider quality. This Committee will determine the needs, concerns, and areas of involvement parents have in their child's education. This committee will also work to educate parents on the importance of skill building in the developmental standards with a focus on early literacy.

Outreach Committee

• This committee will develop public awareness, marketing and partnership development strategies to engage the support of the community in furthering the quality of School Readiness and VPK programs of the Coalition.

Nominating Committee

• As Needed
• This committee is responsible for nominating members in good standing for election as officers. Also responsible for recruiting and/or recommending new qualified members in order to maintain Board membership at the level needed to fulfill the Coalition's mandates.
