This Committee
consists of the Board's slate of officers; the Chair, Vice Chair,
Secretary, & Treasurer and is responsible for reviewing
overall strategies and operations of the Coalition, making decisions
on behalf of the Coalition in between Coalition meetings and
acting as the overall leadership for the Coalition. This committee
also monitors the expenditure of funds and assures accountability
for funds in accordance with legal and contractual requirements. |

This committee shall ensure
compliance with the Coalition Plan in regards to quality
assurance. This committee shall oversee the Quality
Rating System development and implementation including
professional development initiatives as well as training and
technical assistance as related to provider quality.
This
committee will also work through community partnerships to
educate families on the importance of skill building in the
developmental standards with a focus on early literacy. |

This committee
will develop public awareness, marketing and partnership development
strategies to engage the support of the community in furthering
the quality of School Readiness and VPK programs of the Coalition. |

Nominating
Committee |
|
This committee
is responsible for nominating members in good standing for election
as officers. Also responsible for recruiting and/or recommending
new qualified members in order to maintain Board membership
at the level needed to fulfill the Coalition's mandates. |

Provider Forum |
Quarterly |
This committee shall provide an
opportunity for providers to share ideas about existing quality
initiatives as well as participate in the research and
development of new initiatives, including Provider Appreciation,
VPK initiatives, and accreditation processes. The Chair of
this committee shall report to the Board the ideas of the
committee representing family child care providers, faith-based
providers, and center providers. |
